Excitement :You know how your skin tingles when you’re outside in an approaching electrical storm? That’s just how it feels to me around PPI with the excitement about Daytona. Over the last few months, our very own Pontiac Widetrack Attack Team has been nose-to-the-grindstone-busy back at the shop! Old cars have been re-bodied. New cars have been built. Hundreds of new parts were ordered and received, then measured and re-measured on and off the cars. New engines have been built. New decals affixed and more. We’ve all kind of kept to ourselves with our minds on the specific tasks that we had ahead of us. There always is a lot of work to be done between seasons but this has been even more challenging with the changes in personnel and equipment for the upcoming season.

We have extremely high standards for ourselves at PPI. And, we don’t forget it. Confidence is nourishment for us and we never go hungry. But, we have pleasantly surprised even ourselves with how well our people have come together and our hard work has produced great racecars for the upcoming year.

Just this week, it seemed as though people were coming up for air. They are smiling and talking about winning at Daytona. We can’t wait to go racing! We really can win Daytona! We have a great car, a great driver, and great employees behind the scenes. We built our excitement directly into our cars. We can win!
